The history and tradition of the company Špeciálne cestné práce SLOVKOREKT, spol. s r.o. in the field of construction dates back to 1953, when the enterprise Československé štátne cesty (Czechoslovak State Roads) was founded. The value created in the form of several thousands of kilometres of new and reconstructed roads, bridges and other transport structures over a period of more than 70 years have changed the face of the Slovak Republic in no small part.
At present, we are also producing certified asphalt mixtures and dolomitic aggregates at the coating plants in Kráľova Lehota, Podbiel, Horná Mičiná, and at the Podspády Zuberec and Horná Mičiná quarries.
We have a team of more than 110 experts, and our own fleet of trucks and construction machinery, which enables us to carry out complex transport constructions in accordance with the highest standards and quality requirements.
Our company holds the following ISO quality management system certificates: EN ISO: 9001:2015, EN ISO: 14001:2015 and EN ISO: 45001:2018.
In 2025, we also successfully obtained registration in EMAS (Eco-Management and Audit Scheme), which is one of the most stringent environmental standards in the European Union. These certificates are not just a formal confirmation, but above all proof of our daily commitment to professional, responsible and sustainable business.
Highlights from the more than 70 years of our operation on the Slovak construction market:
1953 – following a decision of the Minister of Transport, the Československé štátne cesty (Czechoslovak State Roads) enterprise was established
1957 – construction administrations in Liptovský Mikuláš and Tvrdošín were created at the company based in Žilina
1960 – the national enterprise Československé štátne cesty (Czechoslovak State Roads) in Žilina was abolished; the construction administration was taken over by the enterprise in Zvolen
1963 – after a territorial reorganisation, the former national enterprises of the Okresná správa štátnych ciest (District Administration of State Roads) in Zvolen and Žilina were merged to form the enterprise Cesty (Roads), national enterprise, Banská Bystrica
1969 – renaming of the national enterprise Cesty (Roads), Banská Bystrica to Cestné stavby (Road Constructions), national enterprise, Banská Bystrica
1969 – the enterprise purchased the first finishers with levelling equipment
1969 – the phased replacement of the Hermey type coating sets in Kráľova Lehota and Podbiel with TELTOMAT type coating sets, whose hourly production reached 30 – 70 tonnes, was started
1976 – start of construction and reconstruction of quarries, including the Podspády quarry in the Podspády commune, Zuberec
1992 – transformation of Cestné stavby (Road Constructions), national enterprise, Banská Bystrica into the commercial company Cestné stavby (Road Constructions) Liptovský Mikuláš, spol. s r.o. with construction districts in Liptovský Mikuláš and Tvrdošín, the stone quarry Podspády in Zuberec and coating sets in Podbiel and Kráľova Lehota
1994 – establishment of the company Špeciálne cestné práce SLOVKOREKT, spol. s r.o., focused on special technologies such as emulsion micro-surfacing and Patchmatic pressure corrections
2013 – significant change of shareholders in the company Cestné stavby Liptovský Mikuláš, spol. s r.o. and its incorporation into the holding company DANICON HOLDING, a.s.
2020 – the phased replacement of the TELTOMAT coating sets in Kráľová Lehota and Podbiel with ASKOM coating sets with an hourly production of 120 – 150 tonnes was started
2023 – significant change of shareholders in the company Špeciálne cestné práce SLOVKOREKT, spol. s r.o., takeover of key experts, construction districts in Liptovský Mikuláš and Tvrdošín, the stone quarry Podspády in Zuberec and the coating sets in Podbiel and Kráľova Lehota from the company Cestné stavby Liptovský Mikuláš, spol. s r.o.
2023 – Špeciálne cestné práce SLOVKOREKT, spol. s r.o. continues the decades-long history of the company Cestné stavby Liptovský Mikuláš, spol. s r.o., changing its focus to the production of certified asphalt mixtures, aggregates and the implementation of transport structures with a significant share of the technology of compacted asphalt mixtures
